XSTREAMNLOS
is a completely Non-Line-of-Sight Wireless Broadband
Network. XSTREAMNLOS makes broadband
connectivity simple and easy, by employing client
Premise Equipments (CPEs), which are extremely
high quality, compact, and Plug & Play Indoor
Wireless Modems. The XSTREAMNLOS CPE
connects to any computer’s standard Ethernet
port without having to install any further software
on the user’s computer to support the operation
of the CPE. The client simply powers up the CPE,
connects it to the computer and instantly gets
connected.
Predictability and Consistency
of Service
While most
other wireless products are based on Line-of-Sight
technologies, the XSTREAMNLOS technology
completely breaks the barriers of Line-of-Sight
requirements and operates on a true Non-Line-of-Sight
environment. Therefore, there is no need to
install expensive towers or poles on rooftops.
Further, XSTREAMNLOS operates over
a licensed 3.5GHz wireless spectrum, thus ensuring
interference free wireless communication, which
will ensure that clients are not prone to radio
interferences experienced by other 2.4GHz and
5.7GHz wireless products.
Unlike some other technologies, such as CDMA,
where fringe -area subscribers may take an inordinate
share of the available cell or sector bandwidth,
while receiving a reduced level of throughput,
XSTREAMNLOS uses Orthogonal Frequency
Division Modulation , (OFDM) which provides a
consistent, predictable maximum throughput to
all subscribers, regardless of their position
in the coverage area.

Network is being powered by NextNet Wireless Inc.
Expedience technology. The NextNet Wireless technology
is deployed today over licensed frequencies in
Asia, Africa, North America, Mexico, and other
Latin American countries, including the world's
largest NLOS plug-and-play deployment in Mexico,
targeting 67 million people. Its user friendly
CPE is being distributed by NextNet's carrier
partners in retail stores in three countries,
including the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

XSTREAMNLOS
client Premise Equipment is a high performance,
attractively packaged broadband wireless access
modem for indoor applications. It is a true NLOS
plug-and-play Ethernet device, requiring no drivers
to be added to the subscriber's computer or LAN.
Users are connected in seconds and enjoy always-on
broadband speeds at indoor locations throughout
the entire system's coverage area. The unit functions
as an Ethernet bridge (Layer 2) device, and is
ideal for single host or SOHO LAN applications
interfacing a standard 10base-T LAN or NIC via
an RJ-45 connector. It is compatible with all
standard Ethernet devices such as 802.11 wireless
access points and web cams. The RSU includes a
power supply allowing it to be driven by any 110/220V
(50/60 Hz) source.

PC & SERVER CONFIGURATION
With the exception
of the standard Network Interface Card (NIC),
there are no hardware or software requirements
in order to connect a CPE. The CPE allows the
NIC to obtain an IP address dynamically or it
allows a static IP to be established.
