Mobile Push E-mail Service
Access Telecom (BD) Limited (AccessTEL) has introduced (a push email service) in Bangladesh. The most attractive feature of the ringEmail services is the ability for customers to use their choice of GPRS capable phones in the market today to avail ringEmail services through which they can access both office email and personal emails simultaneously. This capability certainly gives ringEmail a tremendous advantage over other enterprise push email services which limits the customer choice of mobile sets.

The importance of all-time access to e-mail has increased significantly in Bangladesh . The ability to communicate over email from anywhere and everywhere has become essential for everyday business and lifestyle. ringEmail is the perfect solution for email on the go for both the enterprise and consumer market segments for the following two reasons:

•  ringEmail services has all the features required by today's enterprise market plus many more
•  ringEmail prices are low enough where even the consumer market can afford it

It is widely known that approximately 5% to 10% mobile subscribers use Smart Phone/PDA Phones for which expensive enterprise consumer push mail systems already exist. Whereas 70% to 90% subscribers use mid range and new entry-level phones, which are GPRS capable and for whom cost effective push email services are not available. Therefore, we are confident that the ringEmail services will have wide enterprise and mass consumer market appeals in Bangladesh .

Furthermore, users will be extremely pleased with the low bandwidth requirements of the GPRS network leading to reduced cost of GPRS usage. This bandwidth saving is due to unique compression technology of the ringEmail PushLite phone client & WAP Mail Technology.
